A Few Good Links

Hope everyone had a happy St. Patty's Day. It was pretty crazy in New York City yesterday. Some good links for your Wednesday:

-The Telegraph (UK) has an article about a man who resigned from his job through a notice he wrote on a cake...wow

-Next, from CNN, an article that says for jobless lawyers, plan B can include good works (H/T Ari)

-Do you hate your job? Try working for former Major League Baseball player Lenny Dykstra writes Men Style

-If your company has received millions upon millions in bailout money from the government, you may want to think twice about giving huge bonuses to your employees. Now MSNBC's First Read says there may be a way those bonuses may be [t]axed away.

-Best Universities has a list of the top 100 webs tools to help you boost your resume and reputation during the recession (H/T @jimstoud)

-Jos. A Bank, as reported by the Baltimore Sun, is going to give suit refunds to customers who lose their jobs--and let you keep the suit as well (H/T Wendy). Nice job by another company jumping on the bandwagon started by Hyundai. I've seen some high-end management companies in New York City offer no termination fee if you get laid off (though they do make you move out in 45 days). We'll see how far this spreads but it really is good marketing.

-Lastly, at the time when NCAA brackets go out and unproductivity is about to start, a guide from Slate on how to win your NCAA office pool. Not that we're encouraging them here, but if you were to do it, and you don't want to lose...(no money-backed guarantee if it doesn't work)
